Course Writer: Design Skills

3 clock hours, guided online via Zoom, no prerequisites

Participants learn how the basic elements of adult learning theory impact course design, how to draft measurable learning objectives for adults and how to identify a variety of strategies and techniques that support adult learning acquisition and retention, and application. 

Cost: $100

Intended Audience: This course is for early education professionals with a Career Lattice Step 9d or higher who would like to become a course writer. Course writers are approved to write approved training in the early education field. This training is open only to those who live or work in Minnesota.

Who Should Register: Individuals who would like to become an approved Course Writer in Minnesota.

You will receive emailed instructions for Zoom in a few days before the training begins from the TARSS team at tarss@umn.edu. Please make sure that email is on your safe list or check your spam folder.
