Supporting Quality Interactions in Family Child Care: An Introduction

The training is intended for family child care providers who want to get an introductory overview of the CLASS® and how CLASS® might look like in multi-aged settings. The participants explore CLASS® concepts included in the Infant, Toddler, and PreK versions of the instrument. Participants reflect on their own practice in the context of the CLASS® and create a plan to implement in their program.

What to expect

This training is two clock hours.

  • Explore how the quality of adult-child interactions, measured by the CLASS® tool, impacts child outcomes
  • Experience the CLASS® and how it is put into action in multi-age settings
  • Reflect on your own practice

  • Family Child Care Providers (Parent Aware participants only)

This training is restricted to Parent Aware participants and it is free. On the registration form, you will be asked for your program name, or the program you work for, and its license number. Please share this free online training opportunity with the early childhood educators with whom you work.

NOTE: All online trainings are delivered via Zoom. You will be sent Zoom login information prior to the training.
