COR Advantage is an all-inclusive authentic assessment tool. It is a Parent Aware-recognized tool used with children from birth to kindergarten. It covers all areas of development: language, cognitive, motor, and social and emotional development. Early childhood educators can use this tool to assess children across these developmental areas. They can use the data they gather for planning, reporting, and communicating with families.

In this course, you’ll learn about the purpose of COR Advantage and how to use it. Group activities will provide opportunities to practice. This course is delivered in two 3-hour sessions. You must attend both sessions to complete the course. It is sponsored by the Minnesota Department of Education, and it is free for programs that participate in Parent Aware or KEP.
