Infant Mental Health-Informed Reflective Supervision/Consultation is a 10-week online course that includes online modules, small group discussions, and reflective consultation for participants. It is designed for child welfare professionals working with children in, or at risk of, out-of-home placement. It is offered in partnership with the Center for Advanced Studies in Child Welfare (CASCW). Registration closes February 20, 2026.
How it works
- Access course materials 24/7
- Complete 4 online modules over 10 weeks:
- The Purpose of Reflective Supervision/Consultation (RS/C) in Practice
- The “Release, Reframe, Refocus, and Respond” Model of RS/C
- The Reflective Interaction Observation Scale (RIOS™) Model of RS/C
- Using RS/C Models in Practice
- Participate in 4 small group discussions with fellow participants (scheduled based on your availability)
- Participate in 4 reflective consultation sessions with a provider who is endorsed in Infant Mental Health by the Minnesota Association of Children’s Mental Health-Infant and Early Childhood Division (scheduled based on your availability)
