This course was previously titled Family Child Care and Parent Aware’s Observation Tool: An Introduction.

This course gives an introductory overview of the CLASS and how it might look in multi-aged settings.

  • Explore CLASS concepts included in the Infant, Toddler, and Pre-K versions of the tool
  • Learn how the quality of adult-child interactions (as measured by the CLASS tool) impacts child outcomes
  • Experience the CLASS and how it is put into action
  • Reflect on your own practice
  • Create a plan to implement CLASS concepts in your program

This course is only for Parent Aware participants. On the registration form, you will be asked for your program name, or the program you work for, and its license number. Please share this free online training opportunity with other early childhood professionals.
