The feedback cycle of data, reflection, and planning
Before TARSS begins planning an event, we thoroughly examine evaluation data from the previous year's event, to look for important themes and feedback that will influence the planning process. Last year's evaluation data told us that participants at the RBPD Retreat want more opportunities to interact with one another, so we added an activity based solely
on interaction. In this way, we are on a continuous cycle of using evaluation data to learn and incorporate into the planning of the new event. This process is very similar to a typical coaching cycle, where observation drives feedback and reflection, which leads to setting a new goal. The new goal, then drives the next observation and so on!
