The Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS®) measures emotional support in four dimensions: positive climate, negative climate, teacher sensitivity, and regard for student perspective. This training will prepare teachers to review these areas through the lens of their own teaching practices.
Analyze classroom organization dimensions – behavior management, productivity and instructional learning formats – and learn how they fit into the overall context of the CLASS®.
If you’re an educator, prepare to implement the classroom interaction strategies of concept development, quality of feedback, and language modeling.
The training is intended for family child care providers who want to get an introductory overview of the CLASS® and how CLASS® might look like in multi-aged settings.
